OpenedFile is built and run by one person. If a tool did not work, a file would not open, or an article's steps no longer match what you see on screen, please send an email. Every message is read, and what can be fixed gets fixed.
Email is the only way in; there is no contact form.
What Helps
A file that would not open
The extension, where the file came from (say, attached to an Outlook email), and what the tool said. Please do not send the file itself: the point of this site is that a file someone sent you never has to go to a stranger.
A tool that misbehaved
Which tool, your browser and OS (say, Chrome on Windows 11), and the message on screen. A screenshot helps, as long as it does not show the file's contents.
A tool you need
A file format you keep getting stuck on: its extension and where those files come from (say, a client's business system). What gets built next is decided by the formats people actually struggle with.
A mistake in an article
Which article, which step, and how the screen differs. Include your OS and app version so I can check the same screen before changing the article.
